Once you have selected the cells, you can set the print area by going to the Page Layout tab, clicking on the Print Area button, and then selecting Set Print Area. To set a single print area in Excel, you first need to select the range of cells that you want to print. This feature can save you time, paper, and ink. Instead of printing the entire worksheet and wasting paper, you can set a print area to print only the necessary information. Print areas are particularly useful when you have a large worksheet but only need to print a small section of it. However, you can define a print area to print only a specific part of the worksheet. By default, Excel will print the entire worksheet. In Excel, a print area refers to a specific range of cells that you designate to be printed when you print a worksheet. Understanding Print Areas in Excelīefore we delve into the process of setting up multiple print areas, it's important to understand what a print area is. In this guide, we will delve into the process of setting up multiple print areas on a single printed page in Excel. This feature can be particularly useful when you want to print specific sections of a worksheet, rather than the entire sheet. The full depletion voltage was determined to be at 296 V via CV-measurements.The 4H−SiC pad sensors were placed in the dry irradiation channels, under neutron fluences of 5e14,1e15,5e15 and 1e16.The irradiated samples were subjected to I-V tests and UV-TCT (370nm) at room temperature. The results show that the leakage currents remained very low (belowġ4 nA) for all irradiation fluences at room temperature.Regarding the CCE, we observed a performance degradation worsening with increasing irradiation fluence, although the CCE could be partially compensated by the high applied voltage.Diamond Mu - Private server for international audience. The total thickness of the wafers was 400 μm, including a 45–50 μm thick n-doped epitaxial active layer. The high flux neutron irradiation has an impact on the charge collection efficiency(CCE) of SiC detectors. In this article, measurements were conducted on planar p-on-n diodes, which were manufactured on 4H−SiC wafers and were provided by CNM (Barcelona). Thus the Z1/2 and EH6/7 traps relate to the carbon vacancies, which was supported by later research.įurther reading:L.Storasta and H.Tsuchida, “Reduction of traps and improvement of carrier lifetime in 4H-SiC epilayers by ion implantation” , .90,062116(2007)Ĭharge collection efficiency study on neutron-irradiated planar silicon carbide diodes via UV-TCT It can be inferred that carbon interstitials in the implanted layer can indiffuse during annealing and recombine with carbon vacancies in the epilayer, so that point defects disappear. Samples implanted with silicon atoms showed similar results after 1600☌ annealing. The reverse correlation between carrier lifetime and trap concentration agrees well in annealing temperature of 800☌-1800☌. The carrier lifetime increased from 122 to 218ns and the trap concentration decreased from 3e13 to below 5e11cm-3. After implanting carbon atoms(concentration:1.5e17cm-3) into the shallow surface of 4H-SiC epilayer and annealing, DLTS and TRPL was used for characterization. High symmetry is shown parallel to this direction. The symmetry of the epitaxial layer perpendicular to the inclination direction is not high There is a smooth surface and an epitaxial layer with high symmetry. The SiC substrate is obliquely oriented to, and the groove is parallel to, which can be grown The growth habit of n-shaped Sic homogeneous epitaxy without doping was studied under the condition of C/Si=2-4。The experimental conditions are as follows: In this work, electrical characteristics, α-particle response, and pulse response speed of 4H-SiC PIN diode detectors were carefully investigated under MeV equivalent neutron irradiation fluence from \(5 × 10^\), no postimplantation annealing process.Ģ.Growth conditions: 1500 degrees Celsius, atmospheric pressure, chemical vapor deposition methodģ.Raw material: SiH4C3H8 mixed gas, the carrier of the carrier gas is H2, using horizontal water-cooled reactor. In order to meet the demand for higher precision measurements, the eliability of SiC detectors under harsh neutron irradiation nvironments must be characterized. Silicon carbide (SiC) detector shows sufficient merits for the pplication of radiation measurement in harsh neutron radiation fields due to the strong radiation tolerance, good environment adaptability, and excellent electrical properties. DDC will also ensure timely software updates, penetration-testing of its networks, and implementation of reasonable access controls such as multi-factor authentication. In addition to the fine, the settlement requires DDC to maintain reasonable security policies to protect consumer personal information. The states’ attorneys general investigation concluded that DDC engaged in deceptive or unfair cybersecurity practices by making material misrepresentations in its privacy policy regarding its safeguarding of consumers’ personal information, which left consumers’ personal data vulnerable to unauthorized access. The attempts to alert the company had been overlooked by company employees for nearly two months. In September 2021, the threat actor demanded payment from DDC for the return and deletion of the stolen data and payment was made.Īccording to court documents, prior to the data breach, a third-party data breach monitoring vendor had detected the breach and attempted to notify DDC of suspicious activity. 5 servers that contained backups of 28 databases were compromised in the incident. Using a test account with administrator privileges, the hacker installed the malware Cobalt Strike to exfiltrate the data over the course of two months. An unauthorized third party had logged in via VPN on May 24 using a DDC account, having harvested credentials from a domain controller that provided password information for each account in the network. The internal investigation concluded that the databases had been subject to unauthorized access between May 24 and July 28, 2021. According to DDC, the company was unaware that this data had been inadvertently transferred as part of the acquisition.ĭDC discovered the data breach that prompted the investigation on August 6, 2021, when the company detected suspicious activity in some of its archived databases. This data had been archived as was not used for any business purpose. DDC had acquired these databases from Orchid Cellmark in 2012. The affected databases contained sensitive information of over 2 million individuals who had received DNA testing services between 20, including names, social security numbers, and payment information. Please feel free to reach out to us with any questions you may have.ĭDC is one of the largest private DNA testing laboratories in the United States. We have provided a summary of the incident and settlement as well as critical considerations below. Companies should also review and revise their data retention and disposal policies as needed to limit their relevant risk. Organizations storing protected health information and other sensitive personal information should conduct risk analyses and comprehensive due diligence of legacy databases, along with monitoring databases actively in use. This settlement also highlights the importance of safeguarding legacy data. Businesses that process sensitive personal information in the ordinary course of business should proactively review and update their security practices to mitigate their potential risk of a security incident (as well as a subsequent regulatory investigation). And all companies need to be paying attention to FTC enforcement in this space, especially in light of its recent enforcement action against GoodRx. In addition to state AGs, companies regulated by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) need to be aware of potential enforcement by the Department of Health and Human Services. This settlement further indicates that companies that process genetic data, health information, and other sensitive categories of information are going to continue to catch the eye of regulators for data breaches, especially if these breaches are the result of outdated security practices. The company will also implement heightened data security measures, including updating the asset inventory of its network and disabling or removing data deemed unnecessary for any legitimate business purpose. As part of the settlement deal, DDC will pay a fine totaling $400,000. The hacking incident involved legacy data from databases that were not in business use, but that DDC had acquired as part of an acquisition in 2012. On February 17, 2023, the state attorneys general of Pennsylvania and Ohio reached a settlement with Ohio-based DNA Diagnostics Center (“DDC”) for a 2021 data breach that affected 2.1 million individuals nationwide and resulted in a breach of the personal information of nearly 46,000 patients.
